Here are some examples of the food we use to fuel ourselves. This is not what we we eat every day and is in no particular order. I hope you get some ideas. And, you know the drill: don’t eat if you’re not hungry, stop when satiated. 😉

Sausage & Egg Casserole

This simple, filling plate is as down-home as it gets. The casserole is made of eggs, cheddar cheese, pork sausage and Italian sausage. A bit of onion and it’s done! We can eat from this dish for several meals. (The okra and lovely tomatoes are bounty from our garden.

Pizza

There are many ways to make a keto-friendly pizza. This is most friends—and easiest—in our opinion. Use your imagination. Experiment! And enjoy.

 

Deviled Eggs

If there is one perfect food for the ketogenic diet, it’s the egg. There are approximately one billion ways to prepare them. For deviled eggs, it starts with a perfectly hard-cooked egg. The video show how we do that around here.

 

Hamburger & Cheese Casserole 🥘🧀

The way I make this, it’s pretty much a one-pan dish. It’s filling and easy to tinker with. Make it your own!

 

Microwaved Scrambled Eggs & Bacon 🥓🥚⏲

It doesn’t get much easier than this. And, for added benefit, this is very affordable! You can see My Lovely Mate’s eggs below. This is my way. 😉

 

Prime Rib 🥩😋

It seems this would be a highfalutin’ dish. It’s the opposite and is one of the easiest to prepare dishes there is. I promise.

 

Egg Drop Soup 🥚🧅🥣

I prepare this super-easy soup for My Lovely Mate nearly every workday. The eggs are from our own chickens and the scallions form our garden. Nice!

 

Bun-less Burger 🍔

Five Guys has nothing on us! Pile on whatever floats your boat: cheese, bacon, tomato, avocado. Wrap it in cabbage leaves or lettuce. Or just eat with a spoon!

 

Homemade Cheese Crackers 🧀

My Lovely Mate has perfected making these. We prefer them to anything store-bought. And these are eminently more affordable!

 

Beef Liver

Liver is not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’, as it were. But I have grown to really like it. And liver is just about the most nutrient-dense food there is. Give it try!

 

Keto Breakfast Huevos! 🥚🍅🧅☕️

My Lovely Mate is a good cook—better than I, for sure! His ‘huevos con aliños’ are delicious. Add thick-cut bacon, queso fresco, and coffee and the day is a winner!

 

Salmon

This is super easy, and takes just a few minutes. It is delicious, nutritious, and pretty! 😊

 

Keto Pancakes! 🥞

A bit of cream cheese, an egg or two, and a bit of non-sugar sweetener and that’s it. Mmmm.
